Origins of Tuna Mayo Sandwich
Its origins can be traced back to the early 20th century, when canned tuna became widely available due to advancements in food preservation and packaging techniques.

This innovation allowed for the convenient storage and transportation of tuna, making it an accessible protein source for many households.

The combination of tuna with mayonnaise emerged as a popular choice, as the creamy texture of mayonnaise complemented the fish's flavour while also enhancing its palatability.

Over the decades, the Tuna Mayo Sandwich has transcended cultural boundaries, becoming a staple in various cuisines around the world.

Its versatility allows for numerous variations, incorporating ingredients such as celery, onions, or pickles, which add crunch and depth to the dish.

Today, the Tuna Mayo Sandwich is not only a popular lunch option but also a symbol of comfort food, often evoking nostalgia for simpler times and home-cooked meals.
