History of Potstickers
These delicious dumplings, known for their crispy bottoms and tender tops, are believed to have emerged during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD), when the art of dumpling-making flourished.

Initially, they were crafted as a means to utilize leftover ingredients, showcasing the resourcefulness of cooks who sought to minimize waste.

The name "potsticker" itself is derived from the cooking method, where the dumplings are first pan-fried to achieve a golden crust and then steamed to ensure a moist filling.

Over the centuries, potstickers have evolved, with regional variations emerging across China and beyond, incorporating diverse fillings such as pork, shrimp, and vegetables, each reflecting local tastes and traditions.

Today, potstickers are not only a popular dish in Chinese households but have also gained international acclaim, becoming a favourite in restaurants and homes around the world
