What is Mushroom Fried Rice

Fried rice is a dish of cooked rice that has been stir-fried in a wok or a frying pan and is usually mixed with other ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, seafood, or meat. It is often eaten by itself or as an accompaniment to another dish.

Making the Rice
Cooked Rice
25 g Chopped Spring Onions
80 g Mixed Mushrooms
2 teaspoon light soy Sauce
25 g Butter or oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. Put the rice into the boiling salted water.
  2. Bring to the boil
  3. Then simmer for about 10 minutes , until the rice is Al Dante .
  4. Put the rice pan in the sink , and run under cold water until the rice is cold.
  5. Drain in a colander until dry.
  6. Refrigerate for a few hours.
  7. Slice your mushrooms.
  8. Melt the butter in a Wok or a Frying Pan.
  9. Cook the Sliced Mushrooms in the pan, and mix in with a fork.
  10. Add the Spring onion in the butter for a few minutes.
  11. Cover with a plate and cook for 5 minutes.
  12. Add the rice , and combine with the onion and Mushrooms
  13. Mix in the soy sauce , and cook for a few minutes until hot.
